Vaginal estrogen use in menopause is a cornerstone intervention. It reverses most, if not all, of the menopausal adverse affect in the vagina, supports the urethra, and promotes pain-free vaginal functions, i.e. intercourse, gynecological examination, and vaginal ultrasound.
