Hitting Her Cervix

The act of thrusting, which is the back-and-forth movement of the penis inside the vagina during intercourse, will typically tap on the cervix (the opening to the uterus).  This is a normal part of the act, and most women do not even feel it.

However, some women are more sensitive to cervical tapping and may experience ‘deep pain,’ especially in the missionary position.  Common reasons for such sensitivity include being new to the act of intercourse, recently having given birth, or a uterus that sits lower in the vaginal canal.

A helpful tip: place a pillow under her buttocks so that her pelvis is higher than her waist, which will make the uterus slide back and give more ‘room’ for the thrusting.

Can hitting or tapping hard the cervix during intercourse cause cancer?

    • Ditza Katz February 11, 2019 at 7:41 pm / Reply

No, cancer is not caused by the natural tapping of the penis against the cervix.

Most women thoroughly enjoyed my tapping their cervix during intercourse. It has led to multiple orgasms.

Hitting the cervix is not a cognizant activity but rather an outcome of thrusting during vaginal intercourse/using dildos. Its tolerance depends on the couple’s physiques, levels of sensitivity, life’s events, and other factors. There is not specific awareness of hitting the cervix unless it presents discomfort/bleeding, and even then it may be quite a vague notion. That said, just enjoy intercourse without analyzing the details…

the question is: does the penis destroy the infant in mother’s womb?

    • Ditza Katz April 19, 2018 at 2:16 pm / Reply

No, the penis does not affect the fetus/pregnancy (unless you have complications for which your doctor forbids intercourse).

So I’ve been having sex with my boyfriend for the past few weeks and he is a decent size and I feel pain during sex and it feels like it’s going into my cervix. After I’ve been noticing when I go to the bathroom it hurts and I have to go to the bathroom more then normal is that normal??

    • Ditza Katz March 7, 2018 at 6:18 pm / Reply

The penis never gets inside the cervix but rather taps against it. As to the after-effect, it can be as benign as urethral chafing, or can be a physical injury. Check with your doctor for verification.

Uterus hole should from where child come out to vagina but it seems too small in photo. is mc blood come from uterus hole or other hole. reply stately

    • womentc July 27, 2010 at 1:07 pm / Reply

The cervix, which is the opening to the uterus, expands during childbirth to accommodate the baby’s coming out. At all other times, that opening is small but sufficient for menstrual blood to come through (from the uterus) and for a Pap test.
